Halloween Pooch Parade at the Chicago Botanic Gardens!

This past Saturday, I had the pleasure of visiting the Chicago Botanic Garden for the first time. Besides being a truly beautiful place, the presence of all the happy pups just made the experience that much better~ 

The pups are normally not allowed into the Botanic Gardens, but once a year they make an exception in order to have the Pooch Parade Competition! Oh boy were there some fantastic costumes, many home made and completely creative! 

What amazed me the most was how some dogs, who were part of the elaborate display  on wheels were able to stay so still, it's like they knew they were being exhibited and played along for the crowd.
